The exhibition will be opened on 27.3.2025

The Old Town Hall of Porvoo is one of Finland’s oldest surviving town halls and an important part of the city’s history. The exhibition tells the story of the town hall’s journey from the 18th century to the present day: its reconstruction after a fire, its role in city governance, and its later transformation into a museum. The exhibition features stories of everyday life, influential figures, and dramatic events, such as the Great Fire of Porvoo in 1760.

Welcome to explore this iconic building and its rich history!
