Full Service. Shop Signs from Porvoo Museum’s Collection

Full service exhibition is about the business signs used by craftsmen,  traders, and shops of Porvoo from the early 1800s until the 1990s, which can be found in Porvoo Museum’s collections.

The online exhibition lets users explore shop signs from Porvoo Museum’s collections. Museum collections are evidence of times that are past and places that have changed, and the exhibition built on the StoryMaps platform will show the signs’ connections to different times and places with the help of timelines, maps, and old photographs.

The exhibition can also be explored on-site at Holm House (Välikatu 11), where the finest signs from the collection are on display.
