Porvoo Museum – The Museum With Regional Responsibility in Eastern Uusimaa is preparing for the next touring exhibition, which will focus on the horse. The museum is also interested in people’s memories related to horses, and is opening a collection of oral history 1.7.–31.7.2023. What kind of memories do you have about horses? How have horses impacted your life?
Memories are collected with a form you can fill out digitally or physically at main libraries in Eastern Uusimaa. We wish to gather as many different kinds of memories from people of all ages and from all over Eastern Uusimaa. The memories will be stored in the museum’s archive and will be processed as anonymous.
Porvoo Museum is the museum with regional responsibility in Eastern Uusimaa, which provides different kinds of museum services even beyond its walls. The series of touring exhibitions is part of the regional museum services. The touring exhibitions can be borrowed from the museum and they are suitable even for a smaller space.
