Grants

Local museums and associations behind them can apply for various grants to support their work. Grants for museum work and its development are offered by the Finnish Heritage Agency, The Swedish Cultural Foundation in Finland and Finnish Cultural Foundation. You can find other opportunities for funding in fyrk.fi and research.fi.

Grants can be used to develop the operation of the museum and to further collections work in local museums, as well as repair buildings or enhance their safety. There are also grants available for development projects for the museum, for public-facing work or collaborative projects.
